The technology. Black Ceramic is a nano-ceramic film. Microscopic, non-conductive ceramic particles are suspended within the film to absorb and reject infrared (IR) heat - the part of sunlight responsible for that "hot through the glass" feeling - while maintaining high optical clarity. Like Black Series it is completely non-metal, so there's zero signal interference, and it is color-stable for life (no fading, no purpling).
